Cyber Graphics established an internship program in 2004. We believe in education and support training through hands-on experience. Our interns are involved in projects related to color management, design, customer service, production art, platemaking, and other special assignments.

We have three main student program paths:

Graphic Communications Internship Program

Cyber Graphics' long-running intern program with Clemson University introduces two students each semester to all of the departments within our Memphis facility and exposes them to the latest technology in the flexographic industry. Interns enjoy a relaxed, diverse environment while gaining experience working on a real schedule with customer deadlines and expectations. Our interns are paid, and housing is provided.

Creative Services

  • Work in Adobe Illustrator with our creative team to produce prototypes and designs for flexible packaging
  • Output and assemble mock-ups of linerboard and flexible packaging for customer approval
  • Learn about photography and food styling by assisting with photo shoots (including lighting and set up)
  • Create 3D digital visuals to match exact package specifications
  • Design for internal needs, such as company event invitations or signage

Production Art

  • Work extensively in Adobe Illustrator to modify packaging graphics to follow legal, mechanical, brand, and printer specifications
  • Utilize Kodak Prinergy and related applications to trap, step and repeat, and screen art files into plate-ready 1-bit tiffs
  • Preflight and edit 1-bit tiffs from outside suppliers prior to platemaking
  • Measure densities on proofs and print samples for quality reviews
  • Gain knowledge in different printing strategies such as extended gamut, flat-top dots, and hybrid screening

Engineering Professional Practice Program

The professional practice positions with Bryce Corporation and Cyber Graphics offer opportunities in three different departments. Each student will be matched with the specialty that best meets their interests and talents, creating the optimal team environment. Responsibilities will be commensurate with skill level and experience. Our co ops are paid, and housing is provided.
